Kathy Marlene Millheim's Obituary
Kathy Marlene Millheim, 71, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side, Thursday, September 14, 2023. She was born on December 12, 1951 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Carlton and Eileen (Eberts) Kempfert.
Kathy met Bobbie Millheim Memorial Day 1975 and they wed on September 27, 1975, fullfilling the dreams of both. A consummate friend for life and animal lover, she adopted wildlife for pets. Often irritating her domestic pets. Spreading her love so far, would be the only way to anger her loved ones.
Kathy suffered a brain aneurism in 2007 and lived with her physical limitations, fighting the good fight until the end. She will be remembered as a neighborhood baby sitter, substitute teacher and part time nurse, the perfect wife and mother. Her German heritage kept her out of debt. Her Christian values derived from her upbringing in the Bethlehem United Church of Christ. With her passing it is becoming easier to recall her earlier years of her continuing her education, tending to her garden, house, pets and the men in her life.
Kathy is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Bobbie; two sons Lucas Millheim of Hamburg, Germany, and Matthew Millheim of Manchester; a sister, Diane Knecht. She is preceeded in death by her parents; son, Aaron Millheim; sister, Patricia and brother, Rodney.
