Kathyrn Ann Bricker's Obituary
Kathryn Ann Bricker, 58, of Westland, MI, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025. Kathryn’s family and friends will gather from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at St. Rita’s Catholic Church: 10516 Hayes. Rd., Clarklake, MI, 49230. Her Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church with interment to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Glenwood Cemetery in Westland, MI. Fr. Lew Eberhart will serve as celebrant.
She was born on November 28, 1966, in Detroit, MI, to William and Helen (Peake) Kiesznowski. Kathryn graduated from Wayne Memorial High in 1966. She spent her career as a Certified Nurses Aide, which she loved and was very passionate about. Kathryn was loved by all her patients and coworkers, who will dearly miss her. Her love of caring for others followed her home, where she took care of many neighbors in need. In her high school years, Kathryn was an excellent softball player. She was so good at playing softball, she coached her first team at only 17 years old. Kathryn loved animals, especially cats and trying as many new restaurants she could. She loved attending St. Thomas the Apostle, where she would also help with St. Vincent DePaul.
Kathryn will be missed by her mother; Helen Kiesznowski; her siblings, Diane (Chris) Eberhart, Craig (Ronda) Kiesznowski, Keith (Shannon) Kiesznowski and Chris (Gillian) Kiesznowski; her special Aunt, Ileen Zalewski; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, William Kiesznowski; her brother, Billy Kiesznowski; and her husband, William Bill.
