Kay Ann McCluer's Obituary
Age 65, of Rives Township, passed away at her home under the loving care of her family and Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice. She is survived by two daughters, Kelly (Mike) Romm and Stacey McCluer, two grandchildren, Bailey and Conner Romm, her father, E. Rocky Shuster, sister, Gail (Ed) Keagle, brother, Dennis (Mary Ann) Shuster, half -sister, Nancy (Ken) Mims, half-brother, Dave (JoAnne) Shuster, nephews and special friend, Ron Shuck. She was preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine (maiden-Watts) Shuster. Kay was a graduate of Napoleon High School Class of 1969, retired after 34 years with the US Postal Service, was an avid bowler, achieving several 300 games and was in the Jackson Bowling Hall of Fame. She also enjoyed golf and riding bicycles. Kay has been cremated. A Memorial Service to honor her life will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 1 pm. The family will receive friends from noon until service time. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Falling Waters Trail c/o Jackson County Parks, 1992 Warren Ave., Jackson, MI 49203. The family wishes to express their appreciation to her close friends who gave of themselves during her illness, Linda Barrish, Bonnie Norris and Terry Mergler and the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice, especially their nurse, Amanda, for all of their help in this difficult time.
