Kelly Lynn Pomorski's Obituary
Kelly Lynn Pomorski, 46, of Manchester Michigan, passed away on June 11, 2024 at the University of Michigan Hospital. Kelly’s family and friends will gather on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Eineder Funeral Homes - Manchester Chapel. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Eineder Funeral Homes - Manchester Chapel.
She was born on November 25, 1977, in Detroit, Michigan, to Roger John and Judy Lynn (Thursam) Ottevaere. Kelly graduated from South Lake High School in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, in 1996. She married the love of her life, Michael Scott Pomorski, on May 11, 2001. Kelly will be remembered for her love of children, especially her son, Austin. She enjoyed attending his wrestling meets. Kelly happily volunteered as a Cub Scout leader. She adored the students that she served as a school chef for Ann Arbor Public Schools. Affectionately known as Miss Kelly, she was often recognized and hugged by the students outside of school. Kelly remembered all of their names. She was passionate about helping children with special needs, and would do anything for them. Kelly loved to crochet hats for infants in the NICU at the U of M. She also found joy in crafting and creating jewelry. Kelly liked fishing, eating seafood, and will be remembered for her sweet tooth. She will also be remembered for her life-long love of cows. Kelly will be greatly missed by her dog, Delta, as well as her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.
Kelly will be missed by her spouse, Michael Pomorski; her son, Austin Pomorski; her parents, Roger and Judy Ottevaere; sister, Lisa (Mike) Roussin; sisters-in-law, Amanda Pomorski, Gabrielle Pomorski, Sierra Pomorski, Ashleigh Bresser, and Andrea Bresser; and nieces, Ellie and Grace; mother-in-law, Denise Loraine Bresser; father-in-law, Edward Joseph Pomorski; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her godson, Alexander Priehs.
