Kenneth Ray Jacobs' Obituary
Kenneth Ray Jacobs, 91, of Michigan Center, passed away, September 29, 2024, at Henry Ford Hospice home. Kenneth’s family and friends will gather from 10:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 3, 2024, with his funeral service immediately following. Carl Rice Jr. (son-in-law) will officiate.
He was born on November 27, 1932, in Michigan Center, Michigan to Ray and Elsie (Van Tuyl) Jacobs. After attending Michigan Center Schools, Kenneth was drafted into the United States Army and proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. On April 26, 1955, he married the love of his life, Marge Arlene (Jewel) Jacobs and enjoyed many years together until her passing. He will be remembered as a dedicated employee with Kelsey-Hayes for 30 years. He loved working on lawn mowers and cars, hunting, going to the casinos and enjoyed going out to eat.
Kenneth will be missed by his children, Timothy (Angie) Jacobs and Penny (Carl) Rice; grandchildren Jeff (Amy) Miller, BJ Rice, Christy (Chris) Sechler, Nathan (Peri) Jacobs; great grandchildren Alana Miller, Brayden Miller, Camden Sechler, and Caroline Sechler. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Elsie Jacobs; siblings, Victor Jacobs, Ariwin Jacobs, Dwight Jacobs, Manley Jacobs, Merlin Jacobs, Delelah Sager, Emajoy Gyurkovitz; daughter, Shari Betz; grandchildren, Ryan Rice, Joey Miller; and great grandchild, Chad Miller.
