Kenneth Lee Page's Obituary
Page, Kenneth Lee Age 80, of Summit Township, passed away at his home April 2, 2013. He is survived by four sons, Kenneth D., Joseph (Theresa), James (Lorrie) and William Page; eight grandchildren, Branda, Brooke, Cole, Marie, LeAnn and Lee Page, Courtney (Daniel) Moore, Chris Schmidt; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Carol (William) Beecher, Connie (Dean) Troyer, Deborah (Sam) Lindahl; three brothers, Robert Page, Don (Sherry) Page, Tom (Colleen) Page; sister-in-law, Pat Page; former daughters-in-law, Ruth, Kim and Jackie Page; best friend and battery mate, Claude McCluer; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Angeline (Potes) Page; parents, Herman and Lorrine (Rollins) Page and brother, Ron Page. He was born in Lowell, Michigan and graduated from Saranac High School, served in the US Army during the Korean War, retired from Goodyear after 31 years and was Director of the Jackson Recreation Department Softball Program for 20 years. He loved to play euchre, was an avid sportsman, played as catcher for fast pitch softball many years, was on the Goodyear Golf League, was an official with the MHSAA as referee for football, softball and baseball, member of the Rose City American Legion Post #324 and was a faithful supporter and fan of his four son's athletic contests. He never failed to help those in need and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Services will be held at the Heart of the Lakes United Brethren Church, 7035 Jefferson Road, Brooklyn on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11:00 am with Pastor Reggie Coleman officiating. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Napoleon. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Napoleon Community Schools Athletic Department, c/o the Boosters. Graveside military honors will be performed by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team.
