Kenneth Otis Stewart's Obituary
Age 74, of Leoni Township, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years: Marlene A. (Pool) Stewart, daughter; Katrina (Timothy) Hotchkiss, grandchildren; Kira (Keith) Hurley, Paige (Curtis) Popenhagen and Rylee Donovan, great-grandchildren; Kaitlyn and Coralee Hurley, several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his siblings; Robert Stewart, Bill Stewart and Betty Smith and his parents; Joseph and Olivene (Calhoun) Stewart. Ken was a gifted automobile painter and body repairman who spent much of his career at Jim Winter Buick and shorter stints at Dietz Body Shop in Jackson and Roberts Collision in Ann Arbor. He was a former member of the South Central Michigan Bass Casters. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved to camp and spend time in the great outdoors. But, most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Mr. Stewart has been cremated. A public Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be announced at a later date.
