Kenneth James Wagner's Obituary
Wagner, Kenneth James ""Waggie"" ""Jim"" Age 69, of Jackson, passed away at his home April 24, 2013 under the loving care of his family and Allegiance Hospice. He is survived by his two sons, Kenneth and James (Mollie) Wagner, two daughters, Christine (Rick) Holm and Tracy (Brian) Reeser, eleven grandchildren, Ashley. Kevin. Kasandra, Kyle, Payton and Madison Wagner, Chastian Mullins, Erik Hill, Carrie Holm, Keegan and Kiersten Reeser, eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Verl J. and Nettie O. (Dushane) Wagner, three brothers, Rex, Carl and A J Wagner and one niece, Tammy Austin. He was born December 4, 1944 in Adrian, Michigan, lived in the Jackson area most of his life. He was an avid Michigan State Fan and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #612, Jackson. He enjoyed NASCAR, Butler Speedway and loved playing softball with his many friends on the Eagles and Church leagues. He served the nation in the US Army from 1966 to 1969 specializing as a diesel mechanic. Services will be held at the Cement City Baptist Church Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 11 am with Pastor Drew Woods officiating. Interment at the Cement City Baptist Church Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday 6-8 pm and Monday 2-4 & 6-8 with an Eagles Lodge of Sorrow at 7:30 pm. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Cement City Baptist Church. Graveside Military Honors will be given by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team.
