Kevin Troy Jones' Obituary
Kevin Troy Jones, 62, of Brooklyn passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital, Jackson.
He was born on December 23, 1960, in Flint, Michigan to Ralph and Marlene (Gerred) Jones. He will be remembered for playing his music loud for all to hear and feel. Kevin was a generous, kind man with the gift of gab. He had a terrific sense of humor and was strong in his faith. Kevin loved to fish, and you could find him braving the elements to ice fish as well. He jokingly wanted to be called “Mister Jones the Great” by his close friends. Kevin adored his grandchildren and held annual fireworks and grilling at his home. He enjoyed classic cars and his beloved cats. Kevin was employed for many years at Michigan Commission for the Blind as a vending attendant. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Kevin is survived by his daughters, Lanaye Jones and Michelle Jones; a sister, Kelly Jones; grandchildren Destiny and Dylan Lacy; Ryan, Shayla and Alyssa Schnake, Logan Burton and Connor Lichtner; a great granddaughter Leilani May Kurlonko; and two nephews, Neal and Jesse Jones. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Marlene and a brother Craig Jones.
Memorial contributions may be given to his daughter, Michelle Jones, to help with the funeral expenses. Please leave a message of comfort for Kevin’s family or sign his guestbook at www.EinederFuneralHomes.com.
