Kyle "Kiki" Beth Hollis-Brookes' Obituary
Age 65, of Jackson, passed away at her home on August 18, 2017. Kiki is survived by the love of her life, her son, Hillary Paul "HP" Smoyer (Jen Toth) of Portland, OR; granddaughter, Delia Jean Smoyer; siblings, Thomas Peter Pahl "Tom" (Maureen) Frank of Eureka, CA and Lori Dennis of Bay City, MI; nieces and nephews, Erik, Susan, Catherine and Stephen; aunt, Arlene Ambler; many dear cousins and her furry children, Sissy and Buddy. She was preceded in death by her parents Anson A. and Isobel C. "Shelle Frank" (Ambler) Hollis. Kiki started in healthcare as an EMT/driver with Horne-Vinson Ambulance then went on to graduate from the Jackson Community College Registered Nursing Program continuing her life to the care of others. She worked at several State of Michigan Prison hospitals; Foote (Henry Ford Allegiance) in Jackson, Oaklawn in Marshall and other healthcare facilities. Kiki was a talented musician and loved the arts and dancing. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Gathering to celebrate Kiki's life will be held at the home of Roger Sands, 5692 Wheaton Road, Jackson, MI 49201 on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
