Mr. Hiram was the best principal at JHS. I worked in his office in 97 so his secretary could go take her lunch. I loved him very much. He taught me so much and was an inspiration. I just recently heard of his death and I send my condolences to all his family and friends. He was an amazing man and I appreciated all he taught me. He always brought a smile to my face. Another great memory I remember is for cooking class he came and tried our team's fruit salad we made and he made us feel proud of our work. It was simple but we added spices to the fruit salad. Thank you Mr. Hiram for teaching me so much. Your loss is heart felt but I am blessed I got to know you.

Our condolences to all family. We got to know Buddy shortly after moving to Jackson as our sons became friends of his sons playing on many teams with them until graduation and being coached by him. I will miss talking to Buddy at the driving range about our families and Onsted and Jackson sports!

I had Mr. Hiram as a typing teacher at Parkside when it was a High School. Really enjoyed having Mr. Hiram as a teacher. After several decades past he still remembered me as a student. He will be truly missed

I remember Mr Hiram making my Sales and Marketing class so much fun. There was one time when he took the class to Old Country Buffet and he said we have to get there right when it opens so that no one else's hands got to the food first. He was one of the best teachers I have ever had!

Mr. Hiram was THE best principal at J-High. I was going through a rough patch and he would bring me in his office and talk to me to make sure I was doing well. He always had that smile that could light up a room! He will be forever missed!

Mr. Hiram was one of kind. He was so thoughtful, kind and took his time to teach others . Mr. Hiram came to my home after I was in a terrible accident and gave me encouragement and support. I remember him asking me to babysit his children in which I was more than glad to do. There is so many wonderful memories of him. He taught me the the meaning of Imua by moving forward in my life. He will be missed by me and many more.

Coach Hiram will always hold a special place in my heart. I have known this amazing man most of my life and he always counseled and guided me through my years at Jackson High School. Because of his LOVE for teaching and learning, I too decided to become a teacher, coach, and principal.
