Lanora Mae Bates' Obituary
Age 67 of Jackson, passed away August 14 2021 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health. She is survived by two daughters; Allison M. (Harris) Carlisle and Kortney (Patrick Grubbs) Bates, grandchildren; Lindsey Bates, Mackenzie Carlisle, Hayden Carlisle and Brittany Eley, two sisters; Shar (Gary) Poest and Maggie (Ken) Mix and one niece; Nicole (Glenn) Zuverink. She was preceded in death by her parents; Paul L. and Grace V. (Adams) Quivey. Lanora devoted her life to her clients as a dedicated Home Health Care Worker. She had a talent for and enjoyed cooking for her family and enjoyed crossword puzzles and Face Book. Lanora loved her feline companions and is also survived by her cat; Otis. She was a very caring and loving soul who never met a stranger. She loved to travel to the beach at Lake Michigan and feel the sand between her toes. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
