Larry Thomas Maske's Obituary
Age 77, of Jackson, passed away at Allegiance Health May 16, 2016. He is survived by six siblings, Michael (Ann) Maske, Kathi Cagney, Chris (Roger) Fors, Therese (James) Sharpe, Mary Maske-Noble and Larry (Marianne) McKellar, son, Justin Fleming, grandson, William Fleming and sister-in-law, Jane Maske, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Gary and parents, Thomas and Norma (maiden-Bonney) Maske. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Eastern Michigan University, was a talented musician, playing the bass singing lead for many country western bands including Cash McCall and the Greenbacks. He enjoyed substitute teaching and was a tv and radio host over the years on several local stations. Mr. Maske has been cremated. Visitation will be held Monday morning from eleven am until service time. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held at the funeral home Monday, May 23, 2016 at 1 pm, with Father Timothy MacDonald, from Queens and Fatima Parish officiating. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Cascades Humane Society. Larry's family wish to give their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated and gracious staff at Ridgecrest Health Campus for making his last days so rewarding and comfortable.
