Laura Mae Carris' Obituary
Age 73, of Jackson, passed away at the Henry Ford Hospice Home Saturday, October 1, 2022. Laura was born in White Cloud, Michigan on Sunday, February 6, 1949 to the late Walter Ezril and Elois Ann (McConkey) Thumser. She is survived by four children; Steven Carris Sr., Raemonda Carris, Maxine Carris and Christopher "Jake" Carris, grandchildren; James Soltis, Kimberlie (Basti) Martinez, Trevor Soltis, Kelly and Hung Le, Steven Carris Jr., Shea-Leigh Carris, Cierra Carris and Christopher Carris Jr., great-grandchildren; Tristan and Cameron, sisters; Edna Flinton, Judy Blanchard and Beth Bradford, former-daughter-in-law; Linda Carris, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ray in 2008. Laura was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed playing euchre and spending time with her loved ones. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at Marengo Church 125 College St. Marengo Township, Albion, Mi. 49225 on October 22, 2022 at 1pm. with Pastor Ralph McCarty officiating. Contributions in her memory are directed to the daughter Raemonda to assist in defraying the final expenses.
