Lawrence Birch Micol's Obituary
Lawrence Birch Micol, 67, of Clarklake, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025 peacefully at home with his loving wife by his side. Larry’s family and friends will gather Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Eineder Funeral Homes – Brooklyn Chapel. His funeral service will be held Friday, October 31, 2025 at 11:00 am following visitation from 10:00 am – 11:00 am Eineder Funeral Homes – Brooklyn Chapel. Pastor Matt SeGraves of New Life Baptist Church will officiate. Interment to follow at Aldrich Cemetery, North Waldron Road, Somerset Township with full military honors.
He was born on December 2, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan to Gerald and Eleanore (Rutherford) Micol. Larry married the love of his life, Linda Jo Conrad, on January 26, 1979, in the West Rome Baptist Church, Manitou Beach. He will be remembered for his quiet, gentle nature and compassion. Larry was a very private person. He and Linda Jo co-owned Sweet Annies, Bouy at the Lake, Time Again and currently own pepperberries in Jackson. He was an Addison High School graduate, class of 1976. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a Security Specialist and later became a Private Investigator for over 40 years.. Larry enjoyed playing cards and listening to his grandchildren talk about their lives. He loved to seek the truth, either in his faith or in life. Larry’s profession demanded the truth and he was committed to researching the scriptures. He and Linda Jo experienced personal spiritual rebirth through faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Larry was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his adoring dog, Lila.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Linda Jo; his children, Curtis Birch (Micheale) Micol, Carrie Jo (Jimmy) Kandell and Kimberly Lynn Howard; siblings, Jerry Micol, Lisa (Bill) Osborn and Kris (Harold) Baker; grandchildren Drew, Yukinara, Griffith, Tyler, Karly, Dylan, Kody and Jared. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Eleanore Micol.
