Leo John Czubko's Obituary
Age 88, of Leoni Twp, passed away at his home Wednesday, August 11, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 61 years; Bernadette (Gutowski), five children; Daniel, Michelle (Craig) Little, Michael (Leslie), David (Lisa), and Christine (Darryl) Mazur, seven grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brother; Myron, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter; Brynia, parents, Maryan and Alice (Best) and nine siblings. Leo served in the US Army and retired from Kelsey-Hayes. He enjoyed auctions, antiques, hunting, fishing, and visiting with family and friends. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, where a Memorial Mass to celebrate his life will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at 11am with Father Satheesh Alphonse officiating. Cremation has taken place, and the family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service, with the American Legion performing Military Honors at the conclusion. A luncheon in the church hall will immediately follow the service.
The family wishes to acknowledge and thank his daughter Christine, and his son Daniel, for their dedicated care of their dad.
