Leslie LeRoy Quass' Obituary
Leslie LeRoy Quass, age 90, passed away Friday July 14, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Leslie was born on December 14, 1932, to August and Margaret (Kreuger) Quass in Geneva Township, Wisconsin. Leslie married the love of his life, Phyllis MacKenzie on April 4, 1959, spending more than 64 years happily married.
Leslie will be remembered as an avid sportsman. He loved to hunt and trap shoot. For many years, Leslie would come to the Irish Hills area to hunt. That is when he fell in love with "The Irish Hills", so much so that he and Phyllis moved here just before he retired. During his retirement, Leslie and Phyllis would travel to Florida for the Chain Shoots. They not only were able to participate in the Chain Shoots, but that also allowed them to see much of Florida.
Leslie will be missed by his beloved wife, Phyllis; his children, Donna (Robert) Harig and Leslie LaVern Quass; grandchildren, Tyler, Caleb and Iris Quass; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents.
