Lexie Townsend (Burris)'s Obituary
Age 76, of Jackson, passed away under the loving care of her family and the staff at the Allegiance Hospice Home on Monday, December 8, 2014. She is survived by three sons, Jack Burris, Rockey Burris and Jeff (Dawn) Burris; five grandchildren, Joshua, Cory, Brandon, Carley and Brett Burris. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Townsend; former husband, Travis Burris and her parents, Bill and Mainervie (Rowley) Pippin. Lexie was the longtime owner and caregiver at Country Comfort Adult Foster Care Home on Clark Lake Road. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service to Celebrate Lexie's life will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 11:00 am with Reverend Richard Brooks officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until service time. For those who wish, contributions in her memory may be given to the Allegiance Hospice Home.
