Lila Rose Craw's Obituary
Age 88, of Gilletts Lake, passed away Tuesday February 1, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family and under the medical care of Careline Hospice. Lila was born in Jackson, Michigan on Tuesday December 19, 1933 to the late Joseph F. and Grace F.(maiden-Meeks) Samon. She is survived by four children; Rosemary (Todd Locke) Lintner, Jack (Jennifer Sue) Craw, Joseph (Charisse) Craw and Bonnie Jean (Jeff) Scott, seven grandchildren; Lacy (David) Shafor, Chet (Megan) Craw, Jenny (Matt) Crawford, Ryan (Tara) Craw, Karyn (Alex) Hershey, Jeremy (Jesse Francisco) Lintner and Kyle Craw, thirteen great-grandchildren; Aliviah, Kylie, Aliyah, Matthew, John Ryan, Mark, Joe, Jackie, Little Lila, Mae, Lucy, Jon and Grace, brother; Bob (Jeanie) Samon, sisters-in-law; Bev Samon and Donna Simmons, dear friends; Ely and Andrew Rogers, several nieces and nephews and her beloved canine; Teddy. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband; Wilson Ransom Craw Jr. in 2009, sister; Vinnia Jean Samon, brothers; Martin, John and Jerry "Muggs" Samon, two great-granddaughters; Scarlet Crawford and Kathrine Craw. Lila worked many years in maintenance at the Cedar Knoll Rest Home then was a machine operator at the Cochrane Company in Grass Lake. She enjoyed knitting, garage sales, flowers and ice cream. She was a true devotee of lake living and resided at Gilletts Lake her entire lifetime. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home Saturday February 5, 2022 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Jody Cox officiating. Interment Leoni Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Salvation Army
