Lilly Bowditch's Obituary
Age 65, of Summit Township, went home to be with her Lord, November 28, 2016. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Larry N. Bowditch; two children, Sarah (Kenny) Tripp and Adam (Sarah) Bowditch; three grandchildren, Connor and Charlotte Tripp, Isaac Bowditch; sister, Mary (Rodney) Richmond; half sister, Margaret Bricker; mother-in-law, Geraldine Bowditch and stepfather, Robert Gerding. She was preceded in death by her mother, Janina Bilanski Gerding and her father, John Bilanski. Lilly was an LPN at Heartland Healthcare. She had an amazing love and passion for the care for animals. She was fond of saying "They are all God's creatures". She fed stray cats, deer and wild turkeys in the backyard every day. Mrs. Bowditch has been cremated. A Memorial Service celebrating Lilly's life will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 3:00 pm with Father Tim MacDonald of Queens and Fatima Parishes officiating. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Cascades Humane Society, 1515 Carmen Drive, Jackson, MI 49202.
