Linda Gay Campbell's Obituary
Linda Gay Campbell, age 77, of Jerome, Michigan, died Monday, October 10, 2022 at home with her family by her side. Following cremation, Linda’s family and friends will gather Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, with the service to follow at 12:00 pm at Eineder Funeral Homes – Brooklyn Chapel. Linda will be interred next to her husband in a private graveside committal.
Linda was born February 27, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Floyd Dudley Davis and Frances Earnestine (Hicks) Davis. On December 22, 1962, Linda married Tommy A. Campbell. Linda enjoyed making crafts, doing flower arranging, baking and settling down with current magazines.
She is preceded in death by her father; her husband of thirty-eight years, Tommy; and three brothers, Gerald Ferry, Robert Davis, and Eddie Davis. Survivors include her two daughters, Vickey L. Campbell of Albion, Michigan, and Janet L. Campbell of Jerome, Michigan; her sister, Cheryl J. Haggitt (Rickey) of Bay Minette, Alabama, Richard Swenders; son-in-law, William Seets of Ann Arbor, Michigan; grandchildren, Ashley L. (Jacob) Johns, and Alexander Q. DeYoung; and great-grandson, baby boy Lincoln D. Johns and a cousin Cora (Gary) Perez of Coolridge, West Virginia.
