Linda J Winningham (Carpenter)'s Obituary
Winningham (Carpenter), Linda J. Age 70, of Summit Township, passed away at Allegiance Health Thursday, February 28, 2013. She is survived by her son, Lonny R. Winningham; brother, John (Sue) Carpenter; sister, Martha Scott; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Merritt and Ann (Stewman) Carpenter; and two sisters, Carolyn Rowley and Diane Dean. Linda worked as a credit counselor and collections agent in the Jackson area for her entire career; was a member of the Women's Credit Counseling Association of America, former member of the Napoleon Order of the Easter Star and loved flowers, nature, children and music. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Monday, March 4, 2013 at 11 am with the Reverend David Cornwell officiating. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Napoleon. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Cascades Humane Society.
