Linda Jean Roberts' Obituary
Age 59, of Leoni Township, passed away at her Gillett's Lake home under the loving care of her family and Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice. Linda is survived by her husband of 26 years, Richard D. Roberts; son, Phillip M. Meyer; daughter, Nicole A. Rose; six grandchildren, Aaron and Phillip Meyer, Ariana, Kennedy and Trevor Kilpatrick and Michael Horton; parents, Boyd and Judith (Smith) Baumgartner; brothers, Boyd (Marissa) and Adam (Diane) Baumgartner; nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her step-son, Richard Melvin Roberts.
Linda was a 1981 graduate of Michigan Center High School. She then went on to do factory work at forge plants in Jackson and Pilot Industries in Dexter before having a career of over 20 years with Rite Aid Pharmacy. She was a dynamic woman, the family "energizer" and a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed taking care of everybody and everything. Linda also enjoyed playing pool at Avenue Billiards for many years.
A funeral service to honor Linda's life will be held at Arthur-Day Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Hanover Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. For those who wish, contributions in Linda's memory may be given to Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice.
