Lloyd Beerbower's Obituary
Beerbower, Lloyd Age 69, of Leoni Township, passed away at his home May 10, 2013, under the loving care of his family and Great Lakes Hospice after a courageous six year battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Paula P.; two children, Michelle Lynn Beerbower and Phillip Lloyd Beerbower; brother, George (Joanne) Beerbower and sister, Susan (Ralph) Knopf. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lorrie Anne; brother, Jerome and parents, Roy and Eloise Beerbower. Lloyd served his nation in the US Navy, was a former employee of Goodyear Tire in Jackson, had owned L and J Construction, and was a machinist with Advanced Turning. Mr. Beerbower has been cremated. Graveside Memorial Services at Leoni Cemetery on Portage Road (between Page and Michigan Ave) will be held Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 11:00 am. Military Honors by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team. The family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Great Lakes Hospice for their caring support. Contributions in his memory are directed to his family, the American Cancer Society or Great Lakes Hospice.
