I am deeply sorry for your loss although I didn't know your family personally. Death is something we should never have to go through. A scripture that has helped me during times like this is found at Revelation 21:4: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." You will be able to see your loved one again! (John 5:25) jw.org
We relo'd to Michigan / Napoleon H.S. my Freshman year Nov. 77 just before the blizzard. We had come from the Washington D.C. area to this small town and I loved it. Coach Clink was among my first teachers. He had us write notes of encouragement to one another. This was very uplifting to this new girl I remember his super relaxed demeanor in the passenger seat during Driver's Ed. I don't think there was a formal group of 'Wrestlerettes" but Coach designated all the girl wrestling groupies as such and invited us to make signs, cheer loudly and come along with the team to meets. Great fun. In all of my best H.S. memories, Coach Clink is either central or right nearby. May God comfort you, Doug and all your family in your great loss. Love, Joanie
Mr. Clink was one of my favorite teachers. He even survived drivers training with me & my friends. He will always be remembered as a special part of Napoleon.
Rest In Peace Coach. Thought of you fondly over the years.
