Lois Leta Felkey's Obituary
Lois Leta Felkey, 93, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2022 at Drews Place Country Living in Hillsdale, MI. Lois’ family and friends will gather Friday, July 29, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Eineder Funeral Homes - Brooklyn Chapel, 137 S. Main St., Brooklyn, MI and Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Eineder Funeral Home – Brooklyn Chapel. Her funeral service will immediately follow at noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Rev. Jim Hegedus will officiate.
Lois was born on November 13, 1928, in Brooklyn, Michigan to Robert and Hazel (Blowers) Hess. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Lois loved the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. She spent ten years traveling with her husband, Clarence, in their motorhome until his passing. She was a long-time member of the Brooklyn Presbyterian Church; Onsted American Legion Ladies Auxilliary; and the Brooklyn Eagles. Lois loved animals, especially her beloved Babe who preceded her in death.
Lois will be missed by her children, Dennis (Mary) Fish of Benson, AZ; Kathi (Fred) Olinghouse of Montpelier, OH; Linda (Charles) Hunt of Onsted, MI; Mike (Joleen) Felkey of Ann Arbor, MI; and Mitch (Michele) Felkey of Shelbyville, MI; ten grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; a special nephew Bob (Linda) Hudgins of St. Petersburg, FL and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “Matt” Felkey; and her sons Donald Fish and Mark Felkey.
