Lois Susann Molton's Obituary
On July 22, 2019 Lois S. Molton age 78, of Aurora, Missouri formerly of Michigan Center, Michigan, passed away with her daughters by her side and under the excellent care of Good Shepherd Hospice.
Lois was born at home in Michigan Center, the 8th of 10 children of Herschel H. and Nora B. Chalfant. She was preceded in death by siblings, Robert, Lawrence, John, and Cecil Chalfant and Thelma Worden.
Lois is survived by her children, Troy Molton, Deborah (Ralph) Branham, and their 3 children and grandkids, Brian (Allie), and their children Chance and Delilah; Kelsea and Maegan (Trevor); Susie Molton and Brent (Caryl) Molton and their 4 children and grandkids, Michael and his children, Gavin and Hailey; Joshua (Justine), daughter Madeline; Blaize and Giada. Brothers, Jason (Diane), Ronald, Jesse and Marion Chalfant. Sister-in-law and friend Gloria Pisel, and several nieces, nephews and many friends. Lois enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and friends, traveling to Texas and Michigan to be with them.
A 1959 graduate of Michigan Center High School. Where she learned a natural talent for sewing. Working with Kennedy Bell Drapers, Kessler Upholstery, taking workshops to expand her love of sewing; which included; clothing, furniture, draperies and marine. Family and friends, knew there was nothing she could not sew or fix.She was a retiree of General Motors.
Per her wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held. The family would like to express their gratitude for the excellent care that Lois received by the nurses of Good Shepherd Hospice, Hope, Christina and in the end especially Tracy.
