Lois A Welihan's Obituary
Welihan, Lois Adele Age 84, of Jackson, passed away October 6, 2012 at the Allegiance Hospice Home. She is survived by three children, Daniel (Joanne) Welihan, David (Dale) Welihan and Kathleen (Michael) Augustine; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William M.; parents, Dale and Mildred Showerman; and brother, Duane 'Milky' Showerman. She retired from Aeroquip in 1989 and enjoyed many years in North Fort Myers, Florida with her late husband before returning to Jackson last year. She enjoyed doing cross-stitch, crocheting and playing cards. Per her wishes, Mrs. Welihan has been cremated. A Memorial Service Celebrating her life will be held at the funeral home Friday, October 12, 2012 at 11 am with Pastor Sue Babb officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Interment of cremains will be at Woodland Cemetery. Her family wishes to thank Dr. ""A"" from the Allegiance Hospitalist Staff for his wonderful care and Allegiance Hospice Home staff for making her last days peaceful and comfortable. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Allegiance Hospice Home.
