Lola Jean Ackley, age 78, passed away February 6, 2023.
She was born on August 20, 1944, in Jackson, Michigan to Raoul and Murial (Hausworth) Young. Lola married the love of her life, Bobby J Ackley, on August 18, 1961 in Jackson, Michigan. She will be remembered as someone that spent every moment of her life taking care of her husband, Bobby and her children. She was very focused on taking care of her family. Lola also was a huge sports fanatic. She loved to fish, and she especially loved to watch football.
Lola will be greatly missed by her four children; Candy Ackley, Bobby (Kelly) Ackley Jr., Randy (Vicki) Ackley, and Michael (Linda) Ackley; Sister, Joyce, grandchildren; Holly Ackley, Shannon Ackley, Bobby J Ackley III, Kimberly Ackley, David (Linda) O’Neill, Chris (Beth) O’Neill, Kelsey (Nick) Tompkins, and Paul (Hannah) O’Neill, great grandchildren Amanda and Kyle Cooley, Levi and Silas Tompkins, and Ayden and Skyllar O’Neill along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bobby J Ackley Sr, and her special dog Muffin.
