DRAFFEN, Lonnie B., age 77 of Jackson, Michigan, June 15, 2024.
Beloved husband to Erma (Gonzales) Draffen.
Loving father to Tom (Kathy) and Todd (Jen) Draffen.
Dearest grandfather of Todd, Robert (Kallie) and Sarah (Nate): great grandfather of Todd, Conner, Remington, Brayden, Bently and Aaliyah.
He is survived by his sibling Charles (Mary Ann) Draffen and sister-in-law Norma Evans.
His nieces and nephews Timmy Musky, Annette (Steve) Musky, Vicky (Julie) Musky, Darin (Lisa) Evans, Eric (Megan) Evans, Kaylee (Bobby) Rosecrants, Kris Draffen, Phil (Tina) Draffen, Mike (Jena) Draffen, Beth (Mike) Masters and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents Lonnie and Elizabeth (Crabtree) Draffen, his sister Sandra and his brother-in-laws James Dale, Joseph Gonzales and Jesse Gonzales.
Lonnie was a skilled carpenter. He and his brother, Charles established Draffen Contracting, a company specializing in residential construction and renovation. The two worked side-by-side for 45 years.
Lonnie enjoyed the simple things in life. He enjoyed spending time with Erma on their pontoon. He enjoyed listening to country music. He loved watching basketball. He loved doing home renovation projects to help family. His work is on display in just about every family members home and this work will be a constant reminder of the caring and giving man that he was. He will be dearly missed by his family and those who knew him.
