Louise B. Cole's Obituary
Age 90, a 45 year resident of Napoleon, formerly of Michigan Center, passed away at her home on Friday, August 21, 2015 surrounded by her loved ones and under the care of Allegiance Hospice. Louise is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 68 years, Robert J. Cole, Sr.; four children, Jacqueline (Thomas) Simon, Geraldine May (Jerry) Boley, Denise Marie Cole and Robert J. Cole, Jr.; four grandchildren, Angela (Brian) Knight, Richard (Patti) Boley, Nicole Simon and Kenneth (Andrea) Boley; two sisters, Betty Suggitt and Roseanne (Jack) Sheehan; sister-in-law, Juanita Shuberg; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Roberta Louise Cole; her parents, Fred and Kate Shuberg; siblings, Walter Shuberg, Carl (Katie) Shuberg and Katherine (Bill) Cox. First and foremost, Louise was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. During World War II, she was a ""Rosie the Riveter""; most of her working days were spent in factories. She enjoyed camping, playing Bingo and knitting. Louise was a member of St. John Unite Church of Christ in Jackson and the Michigan Center Eagles Ladies Auxiliary #3634. Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 1:00 pm with the Reverend Richard Brooks officiating. Interment will follow at Roseland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday beginning at Noon until service time. For those who wish, contributions in Louise's memory may be directed to Allegiance Hospice.
