Bob passed away in 2004 and is interred in the Veterans Cemetary in Florida where Lucille will also be laid to rest.
Lucille was able to do some traveling including a trip to Liverpool, England where her mother was born and raised. There she spent a day with her Uncle Len and three of her cousins which she had never met before. She even got to see the house where her mother grew up. She also visited Hirshberg, Germany where some of her ancestors came from. One of her favorite places was Yellowstone National Park and she would often tell people that it was a place that everyone needed to try to get to.
Lucille was full of love and focused on her children’s care. She sacrificed a great deal later as a single mom to put her children first, always! She recently moved from Florida back to Michigan in 2021 to be closer to her twin sister and children living in Michigan. Lucille loved kitties and the American flag.
Lucille was always dedicated to her Church serving on the alter guild, ushering, taking home communion to those who were not able to get to church, and was a proud member of the “daughters of the king”. She volunteered for multiple causes including Meals On Wheels,March of Dimes and was secretary for a local Boy Scout Troop. She maintained a strong faith up to and including the last moments of her life.
Lucille always had a smile on her face and will be missed by all who knew and loved her!
