Lucy Jane Golba's Obituary
Golba, Lucy J., (maiden-Zaborowski), age 73, of Grass Lake Township, passed away at her home June 12, 2014 under the loving care of her family and Arbor Hospice. She is survived by two daughters, Kelly Orner of Jackson and Susan Golba of Grass Lake, two grandchildren, Rodney and Katrina. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Scott Edward Golba, her brother, John Zaborowski and her parents, Joseph and Blanche (maiden-Wastakiewicz) Zaborowski. She graduated from St. Johns High School in Jackson, had worked at Mercy Hospital and Mechanical Products and retired after 23 years as a cashier at Meijers Thrifty Acres. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish where a Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 11 am with Rev. Tim MacDonald officiating. Interment St. Johns Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday 2-4 & 6-8 pm with a Rosary Service at 7:30 pm. Contributions in her memory are directed to Arbor Hospice.
