Manuel "Manny" Taulbee's Obituary
Age 77, of Michigan Center, passed away at home October 1, 2016. He is survived by four children, Jeanette (Tom) Jeffreys, Margaret Brandimore, Donna (Richard) Haglund and Casey (Lisa) Taulbee, ten grandchildren, Nicholl, Rachel, Alex, Sam, Josh, Christine, Jennifer, Steven, Brittany and Kristen, fifteen great-grandchildren, step-children, Ted (Myra) Watkins, Marcy (Dave) Hartung and Scott McTaggart, sister, Christine (Burnice) Childers, two brothers, Verlon (Brenda) and Arnold (Judy) Taulbee, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 25 years, Bonnie and his second wife of 23 years, Mary, five sisters, four brothers, parents, Morton and Effie Taulbee. He was a member of Teamsters Local 247, retired heavy equipment operator from Whittaker and Gooding (now Barret Paving), loved his kids, grandkids and his dogs. Services will be held at the First Congregational Church in Chelsea, Michigan (121 E. Middle Street) on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 11 am with Rev. Joseph Jeffreys officiating. Interment South Lyon Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday evening 6-8 pm and at the church one hour prior to service time. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Michigan Lupus Foundation, 29433 Southfield Road #210, Southfield, MI 48076.
