Margaret Ann Dresser's Obituary
Margaret Ann Dresser, 85, of Jackson, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Margaret’s family and friends will gather from 10:00AM-11:00AM, on Friday, March 1, 2024, at South Jackson Community Church. Her funeral service will follow at 11:00AM at the same location.
Margaret was born on May 6, 1938, in Lansing, Michigan, to Francis and Yolande (Smith) Hamilton. She graduated from Jackson High School in 1956. Margaret married Robert Dresser, on March 24, 1979, in Jackson, Michigan, they were happily married for 44 years before her passing. She used to teach ceramics, and even co-owned a ceramics shop with a close friend of hers, called Bar-Mar Ceramics. Margaret loved her family and friends and was a very sociable person. She enjoyed playing bingo, country music, camping and bowling. Margaret and her family went on many day trips together and enjoyed travelling.
Margaret will be missed by her husband Robert; her children, Randy Stetler, Mark Lewis Stetler, Shelly Jim) Meneely, Kelly (Michael) Baumstark, Beth (Joe) Foster, and Jim (Tabitha) Dresser; sister Barbara Hamilton; sister-in-law Judy Hamilton; and brother-in-law, Owen (Donna) Stetler; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Yolande, her brother Robert Hamilton, her sister-in-law, Joan Hommerding, and her brother-in-law, Patrick Dresser.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to family for future designation.
