Margaret P. Hubbard (maiden-Swartz's Obituary
Age 100, of Horton, passed away peacefully at her home under the loving care of her family and Great Lakes Caring Hospice. She is survived by five children, Arlene Dunn, Bryon (Betty) Hubbard, Laurence (Joyce) Hubbard, Franklin (Mary Lu) Hubbard and Fran Stiles, sister Alta Keehn, many grand, great-grand and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Glenn D. Hubbard, daughter Florence Evans, stepsons, Lonnie and Dalen Hubbard and grandsons, Wayne Hubbard and Richard Tuttle, one great-grandson Randy Hubbard and her parents, John and Florence (maiden-Young) Swartz. She was a homemaker who cared for and influenced her grandchildren and their children, in her younger years managed her husband's farm and fur business, was a nature lover and an avid fisherwoman and hunter. She enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, card and board games, especially scrabble. Mrs. Hubbard has been cremated and a Life Celebration will be held at a later date.
