Marilyn Lucille Spraggs' Obituary
Age 80, of Michigan Center, passed away at her home September 14, 2016 under the loving care of her family and Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice. She is survived by her children, Jerry Myers, Roxanna Clepper, Dovie (Dan) Newsome, Deborah Graves,, Robert (Melinda) Spraggs, Wade Spraggs, and Butch Fritz, eight grandchildren, Taryn Spraggs, Ella Spraggs, Robbie Spraggs, Preston Wetzel, Bradley (Kendra) Wetzel, Marah (Andy) Smith, Kimberly Owens and Jennifer Young, eight great-grandchildren, two sisters, Sue Estlow and Dorothy Pigsley, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert M. Spraggs in 1983, her parents, Chester and Rhea M. (Breece) Houser, brothers, Fred, Charles and Leon Houser, sisters, June Van Wart and Betty Johnson. Marilyn retired after a career as a Ward Clerk at Jackson Osteopathic Hospital, loved to shoot pool and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3634 Ladies Auxiliary. Services will be held at the funeral home Saturday, September 17, 2016 at noon with Pastor Jeff Simmons officiating. Cremation to follow. Visitation will be held Friday evening, 6-8 pm and Saturday one hour prior to service time. Contributions in her memory are directed to her family to help defray final expenses.
