Marion S. Woodruff Jr.'s Obituary
Age 89, of Liberty Township, Michigan, passed away at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Ann Arbor on August 16, 2017. He is survived by two children, Nona (Michael) Tyszko and William Woodruff; six grandchildren, Dean (Rachel) Stowers, Joshua and Andrew Stowers, Rakisha and Schshawna Tyszko and Richard (Kelsi) Tyszko and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Ethel (Jude) in 2002; daughter, Gale Stowers and parents, Marion S. and Gertrude G. (maiden-Heinz) Woodruff Sr. He served the nation in the US Army, Korean War; was a member of the Little Vineyard Baptist Church in Eaton Rapids and retired from Die Cast Corporation. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, August 21, 2017 from 5-8 pm. Services will be held at Sidney Church, Pilgrim, Kentucky, on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 11:00 am with Brother Estill Hamilton officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Jude Cemetery. Contributions in his memory are directed to Disability Connections, 409 Linden Avenue, Jackson, MI 49203.
