Marjorie Ellen Watts' Obituary
Marjorie Ellen Watts, 100, from Jackson, passed away May 7, 2024, with her family by her side, at Legacy Assisted Living. Marjorie’s family and friends will gather Thursday May 16, 2024, from 10:00am to 11:00am at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel (Formerly Arthur-Day Funeral Home). Her funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Pastor Reggie Coleman will officiate.
She was born on May 7, 1924, in Jackson, Michigan to Paul and Ethel (Mills) Aiken. Marjorie married the love of her life, Carlton Watts, and spent many wonderful years together. She was a lifetime resident of Napoleon and graduated from Napoleon High School. Marjorie was also a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Napoleon. Marjorie was employed by Napoleon High School in the cafeteria. She also spent many years as a volunteer for Allegiance Hospital.
Marjorie will be missed by her sons, Rodney (Claudia) Watts, Stuart (Pamela) Watts; grandchildren, Ryan (Jodi) Watts, Stephanie (Eddie) Smith and Christopher Watts; great-grandchildren, Ethan Smith, Courtney (Dan) Currie; a sister-in-law, June Aiken and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Carlton Watts; her parents Paul and Ethel Aiken; brothers Harry and Floyd Aiken; sisters Phylis Hatt, Wilma Elliott, Florence Matteson, and Dorothy Aiken.
