Mark Ron Belcher's Obituary
Age 62, of Grass Lake Township, passed away March 12, 2019 at the University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor after a valiant battle with leukemia. He is survived by his wife; Linda M., daughter; Lindsay Bell, son; Andrew Belcher, step-daughter; Kayla (Christian) Krutsch and his beloved canine companion; Sadie. He was preceded in death by his parents; Walt and Alice (Lang) Belcher. He graduated from Michigan Center High School (Class of 1975) and was a Master Electrician. For many years he owned Service Electric Incorporated and from 2011 to 2018 owned Jackson Indoor Storage on Lee Road. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golf and the time spent at their northern Michigan home. He was a member of the IBEW Local 252 for 40 years, the Bishop Zaleski Council of the Knights of Columbus, Chelsea Rod and Gun Club, the Country Club of Jackson, the Jackson Eye Openers Lions Club, the National Electrical Contractor's Association, Cascades Friends of the National Rifle Association and Our Lady of Fatima Parish, where services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11 am with Father Tim MacDonald officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday, 5 to 8 pm. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Bishop Zaleski Knights of Columbus Ultra Sound Program or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Michigan (1471 East 12 Mile Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071).
