Mark J. Kilpatrick's Obituary
Kilpatrick, Mark J. Age 66, of Leoni Township, passed away at his home August 23, 2015 under the loving care of his family and Allegiance Hospice. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Merry Ann (maiden-Phelps), one daughter; Beth (Louis) Ploof, granddaughter; Autumn Ploof, sister; Leigh (Ron) Hoover, sister-in-law; Delores Kilpatrick, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Erwin and Gertrude (maiden-Weck) Kilpatrick, brother; Gary Kilpatrick, sisters; Janice Wellman and Gail Adams. Mark served the nation in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War, retired from Chrysler as a Machine Repairman and was active with the Michigan Antique Radio Club. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, August 26, 2015, 2-4 & 6 to 8pm. Private interment service will be held at East Rives Cemetery with Rev. Richard Brooks, Allegiance Hospice Chaplain officiating. Graveside Military Honors will be rendered by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Allegiance Hospice. The Kilpatrick family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Malcolm Trimble and Dr. Jo Ann Hirth and their staffs for the excellent and compassionate care given our loved one.
