Mark was not only the best neighbor we could have ever asked for, but became a great friend to both of us. He was considered family to us, sharing in all of our families milestones. He “crashed” our wedding, was one of the first people to meet our son after his birth, shared in birthdays, our sons graduation and many Holidays, especially Halloween. He always came over to help us decorate the graveyard and loved sneaking things into my Halloween displays to see how long it took me to notice! We spent so much time together he used to laugh and say he was like our child, even though he was older than both of us. We always met up after deer hunting every night to chat about what we saw, and sometimes what we didn’t see. Mark was an excellent deer tracker, and taught us a lot about processing. We have so many great memories of fishing on “Marks Lake”, Lake Erie, Lake Michigan, and ice fishing many of the lakes in our area. Mark was always willing to help, and always made sure he was available anytime he was needed. His loss has been devastating, and he will be greatly missed, but very fondly remembered! Fish on Mark!
