Marlene Kay Loyd's Obituary
Marlene Kay Loyd, 72, of Saline, Michigan passed away peacefully at home, Friday, November 26, 2021. Marlene’s family and friends will gather at Eineder Funeral Homes-Manchester Chapel on Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm for a celebration of life.
She was born on February 3, 1949, in Stockbridge, Michigan to Cecil and Lavon (Ashmore) Hudkins. Marlene graduated from Manchester High School, Class of 1967. She was a beautician at Alma’s Beauty Salon in Manchester for many years and a nurse’s aide for St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. Marlene retired from University of Michigan after 36 years of service in the medical billing department. She was a member of the Manchester Alumni Association. She will be remembered as loving her family and friends dearly. Marlene will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Marlene is survived by her stepdaughter, Gretchen (Michael) Addor of Brighton, Michigan; siblings, Marcia (Robert) Bunney of Manchester, Michigan, Malinda Hudkins of Holt, Michigan; grandchildren Cate and Luke Addor. Special friends; Linda and Gary Lutz of Saline, Michigan; special furry friend Miken, nieces and nephews, Gregg (Peg), Cindy, Bobby (Karen), Dawn (Denny), Marc as well as many great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary, Margaret (Duane), Madelyn, and Maxine (Richard).
