Marlene Marie Steen's Obituary
Marlene Marie Steen, 47, of Jackson, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
She was born on August 18, 1976, in Jackson, Michigan to Ralph and Nyann (Shanks) Ray. Marlene had been married to the love of her life, Matthew, for 15 wonderful years. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother and friend. Marlene loved going to the casino and was nicknamed “the lucky lady”. She cherished her time spent at home and especially preparing home cooked meals for her husband and family. Her passion for her patients she cared for was immeasurable. Marlene was happy just to be at home relaxing and saying “it’s 5 o’clock somewhere!”
Marlene will be missed by her husband, Matthew; her children, Brent (Joseph) Ousley and Melissa Ousley; her brother Scott (Sue) Ray; several aunts and uncles and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
