Marvin A. Arnold's Obituary
ARNOLD, MARVIN A. Age 67, of Cranberry Lake and Harlingen, Texas, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester R. and Virginia I. (Pederson) Arnold; and infant brother, David. Marvin is survived by his wife of 47 years, Suzett; three children, Troy Allen (Laura) Arnold of Harlingen, Trevor Eugene (Trennette) Arnold of Cranberry Lake and Tammy Sue (Ray Bulls) Arnold of Ft. Worth, TX; five grandchildren, Natalie, Justin, Cayden, Sophia and Skyler; his brother, Howard (Lorraine) Arnold of Hudson; mother-in-law, Phyllis Hatt, two brothers-in-law, Roy (fiancAC.e Maria) Hatt and Lyle (Terri) Hatt, all of Cranberry Lake; several nieces and nephews and best friends, Gene and Sharon Palmer. Marvin was a Marine Corps Veteran of Vietnam and was retired from Ford Motor Company in Saline. He and Suzett enjoyed time with the Snoopy Square Dancing Club and the Sunchasers Camping Club. They have been wintering in Texas for the past 28 years. Marvin was a member of the Clarklake Community Church, 9224 Hyde Road, where a Celebration his Life will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 11:00 am with Pastor Frank Feltis officiating. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Napoleon. Military Honors will be provided by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. For those who wish, contributions may be given to his church.
