Mary Ann Dowding's Obituary
Age 79, of Leoni Township, passed away at her home on Saturday, April 30, 2022 under the loving care of her family and the staff of Henry Ford Home Hospice. Mary Ann is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years; Roger A. "Butch" Dowding, three sons and two daughters; Rodney Dowding, Randy Dowding, Kevin Dowding, Mindy Coppernoll and Missy Cochran, 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, brother-in-law; Steve Dowding, sisters-in-law; Lynda Dowding, Sharon Jonas, Mary Dowding and Shirley Dowding; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Dewey and Catherine (Niswonger) Omans, sisters; Gloria Redmond and Karilyn McDonald, brothers; Richard Niswonger and Bernard Omans and brothers-in-law; Frank and Glenn Dowding. Mary Ann was a tavern owner (Grass Shack) for many years and longtime home health caregiver too. A service to celebrate Mary Ann's life will be held at the American Legion Rose City Post #324 (upstairs) on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 1-5 pm. For those who wish, contributions in Mary Ann's memory to Henry Ford Home Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
