Mary Ann Charboneau's Obituary
Mary Ann Charboneau, 68 of Brooklyn passed away after a lengthy illness at home with her loving family by her side on Friday, October 27,2023. Mary’s family and friends will gather Monday, November 13, 2023, at the VFW Post and Auxiliary#1138 in Monroe, Michigan (400 Jones Avenue, Monroe, Michigan, 48161) from 2:00PM-6:00PM.
She was born on September 20, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan to Carl and Helen (Stalmach) Miller. Mary married the love of her life, Jack Charboneau, on April 4, 1974, in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. She was a graduate of Annapolis High School in Dearborn Heights. She devoted her life to her family and was a loving wife, mother, grandma, great grandma and aunt, willing to do anything for them. Mary had a sassy personality and a warm heart. In her earlier years she enjoyed camping and swimming, even taking a motorcycle trip all the way to New York State. Mary loved the property they camped on, at Little Stoney Lake and eventually purchasing it and building a home there. On a sunny day she could be found enjoying the sunshine on the deck. Mary had a love for Diet Pepsi, cake, and her animals, especially her favorite dog “Mason”. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mary is survived by her husband Jack of 49 years; her children, Tammy Charboneau and Christopher Charboneau; siblings, Gloria Wisneski, Darlene Koenig, Lynda Miller, Donald Miller and Theresa Wilkinson; grandchildren, Gabrielle Guevara, Wesley Hudgens and Lucas Charboneau; great grandchildren; Enrique and Esperanza Guevara; nieces and nephews; Dawn, Ronald, Donald, Jeff, Shane, Matthew, Vicky, Samantha, Crystal, Mandy, Renee, Julie, Michael, Shayla, Bruce,Thomas, Rochelle, Kyle. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Judy Reynolds.
