Mary Beth Cooper's Obituary
Age 81, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health. She was born at Mercy Hospital in Jackson on March 11, 1939 to Harry and Margaret (Behan) Gulliford and they preceded her in death. Mary is survived by her beloved family, her husband of 58 years, Ernest Cooper and daughter, Sara Cooper; as well as leaving behind her wonderful cats and dogs. She was a graduate of St. John's Catholic High School. Mary worked at Consumers Energy for nearly 35 years, retiring from the Payroll Department. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 711 N. Martin Luther King Jr Dr., Jackson, MI 49201 where a Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Father James Shaver officiating. For those who wish, contributions in Mary's memory to the Jackson County Animal Shelter or the Cascades Humane Society would be appreciated.
