Mary Louise Golick's Obituary
Mary Louise Golick, 87, passed away February 1, 2022. Mary’s family and friends will gather on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary on the Lake Catholic Church, 450 Manitou Rd., Manitou Beach, MI. Her funeral Mass will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Todd Koenigsknecht will serve as celebrant.
She was born on May 19, 1934, in Hamtramck, Michigan, to John and Pearl (Rudenko) Czarnecki. Mary began her life living on a farm with her grandparents. She then began working in a bank. After marrying her husband, Stanley Golick, she became a devoted homemaker. She loved to garden and take care of her lawn. She loved her vegetables and flowers and gave them her full attention. Mary was a longtime proud member of the Sodality of Our Blessed Lady at St. Francis Parish, Detroit.
Mary will be missed by her daughter, Theresa Golick of Manitou Beach; her sister, Elaine Sands of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren Alexandria Hoffmann and Rebecca Hoffmann; and a great grandson, Thomas Anthony, soon to be born. She is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley, and a great-grandchild, Evelyn Louise Cox.
