Mary Aletha Perkins' Obituary
Age 87, of Jackson, passed away September 12, 2018 at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Edward J. Perkins Sr., three children, Edward J. (wife-Linda Hagerman) Perkins Jr., Allan K. (wife-Terri Sobota) Perkins and Brenda (husband-Paul) Thoms, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley "Tex" S. and Aneita R. (maiden Kelly) Marten. She worked at Consumers Power as a supervisor in the Stenographic Dept., retiring after 23 years service. She was an avid reader. Services will be held at the funeral home Monday, September 17th, 2018 at 11 am with Rev. Larry Rubingh officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday evening, 6-8 pm. Private interment will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
